Aimee Freeman, M.A. Senior Research Coordinator | Ms. Freeman received her B.A. in Anthropology in 1999, and completed M.A. in Physical Anthropology from the University of Cincinnati in 2008. Her previous research experience includes analyses of Bronze Age skeletal remains from Chora, Greece and applying novel methods to the study of thalassemia in prehistoric populations. She joined the STATEPI team in April 2002 as the Administrative Assistant. In January 2006 she became the Research Coordinator for the North American AIDS Cohort Collaboration on Research and Design (NA-ACCORD). Her primary responsibilities include managing daily operations of the multi-site research effort, communicating with collaborating cohorts throughout the US and Canada, coordinating study projects, protocol development, creating and maintaining the project tracking database, website maintenance and participation in scientific meetings. |
