Ms. Mullen completed her B.S. in Biobehavioral Health at the Pennsylvania State University (May 2003). She joined the STATEPI team in July 2003 as a Research Assistant. Her previous experience includes a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department at Penn State University, and an Office Assistant in the Physics Department, where she gained valuable experience in developing coding systems, entering data, and training other research assistants. As a member of the CAMACS coordination team, Ms. Mullen coordinates form and codebook revisions and development. She assists the Senior Research Coordinator with quality assurance activities (guidelines, site reviews, and coordination of visit editing with assigned programmers), and maintains the master file for identifying pathogenesis projects. In addition, Ms. Mullen assists in report generation and correspondence related to the administrative aspects of the study. She has sole responsibility for receiving, entering, and managing outcome and cancer data, and receives reports on clinical endpoints on a continuing basis, at which point she is responsible for issuing up-to-date reports on the status of outcome and cancer data in the MACS.
