Janet Schollenberger, M.H.S.

Senior Research Coordinator


Janet Schollenberger received her M.H.S. in Health Service Administration from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 1981. She has 20 years of experience in public health research and the health care industry. Since 1993, Ms. Schollenberger has worked at Johns Hopkins University providing key support in the planning and execution of investigative research studies according to scientific protocol. She has worked collaboratively with investigators and subcontractors in the design of data collection instruments, recruitment of study participants, design and management of data files, and analysis of data.

In her role as project coordinator for CAMACS (beginning April 2002), Ms. Schollenberger's responsibilities include coordinating staff and data management procedures for the application of research initiatives, interacting with internal and external investigators as the primary CAMACS' liaison, developing forms and protocols in collaboration with study investigators, assisting in preparation of grants, progress reports, and scientific meetings and papers. Under her direction, form development, data collection, and database organization are coordinated to ensure efficiency of analyses and reports. She monitors quality assurance procedures at CAMACS, and develops and oversees procedures for processing requests for specimens from the national repository and data from CAMACS in response to EC-approved investigations.
