Gayle Springer, M.L.A.

Senior Statistical Programmer/Data Analyst


Ms. Springer has worked for the Johns Hopkins University since 1989, initially in the Data Center/Information Systems division. Ms. Springer received her M.L.A. from Johns Hopkins University in 1994. In September 1997 she joined the STATEPI team, bringing extensive experience in database technology, Internet communications, high level programming, and statistical software to her duties. Her primary responsibilities include implementing and maintaining protocols for data conversion and integration from PC data management systems; ensuring data quality through development and maintenance of edit queries and participating in other quality assurance activities; maintaining and updating national repository database; collaborating in the development and maintenance of summary databases; processing data requests by external investigators; and communicating with multiple off-site data management and clinical collaborators regarding data quality issues.
