Fang Tian, B.Med., M.S., M.P.H. Senior Statistical Programmer/Analyst | Ms. Tian received her B. Med from Xiangya School of Medicine, M.S. in Epidemiology & Health Statistics from Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, and M.P.H. in Quantitative Methods from Harvard School of Public Health. Her past experiences include working on HIV/AIDS surveillance at China CDC (1999-2004), research assistant on Nurse Health Study at Brigham & Women’s Hospital (2004-05), research assistant and data analyst on “Developing and Optimizing a National Bioterrorism Syndromic Surveillance System” at Johns Hopkins Hospital (2007-08), and program coordinator on “Retrovirus Epidemiology Donor Study-II” at Johns Hopkins Hospital (2008). She is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Ms. Tian joined STATEPI in June 2009, she collaborates on WIHS with epidemiologist, statisticians and clinical investigators in data analysis, study design, development and management of database applications, and implementation of novel statistical and epidemiological methods. |
